We can help you get pregnant – Wickford hosts Fertility Fayre

8 out of 10 couples conceive within a year, so if you have been trying for longer it might be a good time to start seeking expert advice to help you get pregnant.

Bourn Hall’s new clinic in Wickford is hosting its  Fertility Fayre on Saturday 26 October to coincide with this year’s national Fertility Week.

The objective of the Fertility Fayre is to enable you to get all the information you need to give you the best chance of becoming pregnant.

A wide range of stalls, with experts on hand, will be there all under one roof.

Bourn Hall’s own experts will be available to explain about the common causes of infertility and what fertility health and wellbeing tests can tell you.

Complementary therapy

Bourn Hall Wickford is unique in that it has three independent complementary therapists practicing in the fertility centre:

 – Carole Connor of Southend Reflexology offers fertility reflexology

 – Alison Willamson of Plumb Blossom Clinic provides acupuncture, CranioSacral Therapy and physical therapy

 – Angela Attwood of Love Nutrition offers nutritional advice

The complementary therapists work alongside the Bourn Hall clinicians with the aim of proving a holistic approach at every stage of people’s fertility journey.

We can help you get pregnant

A reassuring thought is that for most people there are a number of practical steps and minor interventions which can be taken to improve the chances of getting pregnant naturally, and only a very small percentage of people need to have IVF. The challenge is that its often not easy to access expert help and advice about what is right for you.

So Bourn Hall’s own specialists will be on hand to explain about the common causes of infertility and what fertility health and wellbeing tests can tell you about your reproductive health and what your next steps might be. There will also be information about Bourn Hall’s fertility support group, counselling services and help with alternative ways of funding any treatment you might need.

The event is entirely free of charge and will run from 10am to 2pm at Bourn Hall Clinic, 25 London Road, Wickford SS12 0AW.
