Anne will be missed by her Bourn Hall family

Our “loverly” Anne retired this week after 27 years and she will be greatly missed.

In her nearly three decades of working at Bourn Hall, Anne Baldwin has supported many different departments as the clinic has grown and expanded.

But she is probably best known and appreciated in her role as an invaluable member of the reception team welcoming patients and visitors to Bourn Hall Cambridge.

Nicola Graver, HR Director, comments: “Anne is known by her colleagues as ‘Our Lovely Anne’ as she hails from Devon and often calls people ‘my lovely’ in her slight Devonshire accent.

“Her friendly face and gentle voice helped put patients at ease as they came in for treatment.”

Anne said it has been a joy working at Bourn Hall and in her speech mentioned that she had been privileged to work in the ‘best office in the country’.

Nicola continues: “She had a great send off today with presents, cake, fizz and a buffet with all her friends from Bourn Hall who wish her a long and happy retirement.”
