A new statistic from Endometriosis UK reveals that 62% of women with symptoms of the condition would put off going to the doctor.
This comes as no surprise to Bourn Hall's Medical Director, Dr Thanos Papathanasiou, who sees many women with the condition who had no idea it would affect their fertility.
In our recent blog post we discuss the effects of endometriosis and find out how previous Bourn Hall patient, Paula, overcame her condition and had two beautiful boys with IVF.

We know that time is of the essence for many people looking to start a family and are aware of the mixed messages around fertility and the Covid-19 vaccine.
In line with recent guidance from the British Fertility Society, all those who are trying for a baby can have the vaccine. There is no reason to put starting a family on hold due to Covid-19.
