Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a common condition that affects ovarian function and egg release, with symptoms that can signal infertility. Women with PCOS often experience a hormone imbalance, including abnormal insulin levels and higher testosterone, which can cause irregular periods, excess body hair, acne, and polycystic ovaries.Maintaining a healthy BMI can be challenging for women with PCOS, which can further affect fertility, as weight influences insulin production.Learn more about how PCOS affects fertility here: moredetails.uk/3kkoSR2 Verity - PCOS Charity #pcosawarenessmonth #pcosawareness #PCOS

She and her partner, Ben, began trying for a baby in her late-20s. Knowing her condition, they sought help after six months and were eligible for two rounds of NHS-funded IVF. Thankfully, the treatment worked on their first try, and Lydia and Ben are now proud parents to son Rylo, thanks to our Norwich clinic.Read their full story here: moredetails.uk/4cPuZXR 💓Verity - PCOS Charity
