Fertility Counsellor

I have worked with Bourn Hall since 2008. I am an independent counsellor with a personal interest in infertility counselling. I have a private practice and provide supervision for other counsellors.

My work includes help and support in all areas of fertility counselling and at any stage of treatment.

I offer an implications and support counselling service to help people explore their feelings and sensitive issues around fertility treatment. I offer help in understanding the factors that may be contributing to difficulties experienced and support with feelings of anxiety, loss and isolation. I also facilitate a fertility support group at Bourn Hall that runs once a month with the help of clinic staff.

As an ex-patient of Bourn Hall, I have personal experience of infertility and an empathetic understanding of some of the feelings and issues involved in treatment.

In 2002, I became an accredited member of the UKAHPP (the Association of Humanistice Psychology Practitioners); and, in September 2014, I became an accredited member of the British Infertility Counselling Association.

My previous work experience included running my own business and working as an account executive for a large blue chip company.
