Our clinics are remaining open

In light of the increase in Covid-19 cases and changes to local lockdown, we want to reassure you that we will continue to provide treatment under our current guidelines.

These were put in place from May 2020 to comply with Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) professional guidelines and keep patients safe. We hope that a new national closure of fertility clinics should not be necessary. This is a view reinforced in a statement for patients published by the HFEA on the 13 October.

All licensed clinics, including Bourn Hall, set out a Treatment Commencement Strategy in May 2020 showing how they could provide a safe service for their staff and patients during the pandemic.

Our strategies are kept under regular review and we are following the latest guidance from the UK professional bodies – the British Fertility Society and Association of Reproductive and Clinical Scientists.

We will continue to follow professional and local guidance to review and adapt our treatment strategy, ensuring fertility treatment can continue to be provided safely.
