Is this event right for me?
Do you want to find out more about your fertility? Do you want to know what tests to do, when and why? If you are at the beginning of your fertility journey and want to learn about what help is available, our free fertility event at Orsett Hall just off junction 30 of the M25, could be just right for you.
80% of couples will become pregnant within one year and the most common causes of infertility are due to:
- male factors (40%)
- female factors (40%)
- a combination of both partners’ factors or are unknown/unexplained (20%)
This is why at this special event we have talks from experts in the field of fertility focusing on female infertility, male infertility factors and unexplained infertility.
At this convention style event there is an opportunity to discuss how to boost natural fertility and to talk to complementary therapists (such as acupuncturist, reflexologist and nutritionist) as well as clinical staff from Bourn Hall who will be able to offer you personalised advice.
It is well known that fertility declines with age but there are many other causes. Common reasons for infertility such as blocked fallopian tubes or low sperm count won’t be improved by waiting, so it is important that these conditions are addressed to maximise the chance of conception. There is more information about fertility testing on our website.
So if you have been trying to conceive for more than a year, or you are aware you may have difficulties getting pregnant, come along to our free event at Orsett Hall – we’d love to see you there.
Free mini consultations and expert presentations
This convention style event will include an opportunity for you to have a private, free “mini” consultation with one of our Fertility Nurse Specialists and an informative presentation about the reasons why you may be finding it difficult to achieve a pregnancy and what help is available.

- Dr Arpita Ray, Lead Clinician at Bourn Hall will be talking about Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)
