I am donating my eggs/sperm for the use of others. Can I still have a COVID-19 vaccine?
Absolutely! The COVID-19 vaccine doesn’t contain any live virus, so it won’t affect your ability to donate your eggs.
The Human Fertilisation & Embryology Authority recommends waiting at least seven days after your most recent vaccination before donating your eggs. If you feel unwell after the vaccination, you should wait at least seven days until you’re feeling better.
