Dr Chhaya Prasannan-Nair is a highly experienced IVF specialist with over two decades of clinical practice in Obstetrics, Gynaecology, and Reproductive Medicine. She completed her undergraduate and postgraduate medical education in Pondicherry, India, earning a university gold medal for her MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She went on to complete her specialist training in the UK, where she has worked in various NHS hospitals for more than 20 years.
Dr Chhaya Prasannan-Nair has a longstanding interest in reproductive medicine and is particularly experienced in the management of subfertility, endometriosis, recurrent miscarriage and early pregnancy complications. Her clinical expertise encompasses all aspects of assisted conception, including IVF, ICSI, ovulation induction, and fertility preservation. She is currently the Lead clinician for Donation and Surrogacy. She is also the Responsible Officer for Bourn Hall Clinic.
She holds membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health (FSRH), and the Institute of Psychosexual Medicine (IPM). Her multidisciplinary training allows her to provide a compassionate, evidence-based, and holistic approach to fertility care, tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
